In 1901, Luigi Bezzera invented the espresso process - the correct temperature and pressure required to extract the aromatic oils from roasted coffee beans resulting in the flavorsome espresso coffee we all love today. Bezzera continues to be a family owned and operated business based in the outskirts of Milan in Italy.
